- There will be coffee exchange coffee, art, milkshakes?, and a killer opening songwriter (dustin?).
FREE SHOW - but you must bring art supplies for the NEW URBAN ARTS
ARMORY: 176 benefit st, providence ri
COME - AND ENJOY LOVE AND THINGS. BRING ART SUPPLIES
a blurb from westside arts who is the crew putting on the show:
The concert Friday highlights New Urban Arts, an organization that mentors urban teens in the arts. Performers include Andrew Mook and Lori Amey. The show is free but we are asking that you bring some sort of art supplies to donate to New Urban Arts - pencils, pens, paper, brushes, film, magazines, AA batteries, old cameras, easels, paints and really anything that you think might be useful to their art studio. This is a great time for RISD students to clean out their closets !!!
then after the show....
you should head to a show at as220 [ben pilgrim and mary bee] - i've seen them play a few times and they are fantastic. i ran into ben at the exchange the other day, and he said that they'd be going on around 11:00pm. so you should be able to make both.
