Help us then, now, Lord, to work for that day when nation shall not lift up sword against nation, when tanks will be beaten into tractors, when every man and every woman shall sit under his or her own vine and fig tree, and none shall be afraid; when justice will roll down like waters and righteousness as a mighty stream.

you know, i really give it to him for saying "shall not lift up sword" instead of "will not have to lift up sword". i'd feel pretty awkward if i were a military leader (which obama now is) listening to this.
i know - thats why i love this quote!
too bad this same civil rights fossil in the same prayer said he longed for the day when the "yella" would be "mella" and the "red man" would get "ahead, man." Woah, that's deep, dude!
But hey I guess since he's including some anti-war platitude, that's OK. Neville Chamberlain wanted peace in his time too.
