Ryan Adams Announces Cardinology LP, Adds Dates
Sets release date for Infinity Blues book
Cardinology is the silly title of the forthcoming LP from Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, due October 28 on Lost Highway.
The new disc, described by people who would like you to buy it as "a concise and focused collection of twelve unadorned gems," will be preceded by a single for "Fix It" on September 23. Closing track "Stop", meanwhile, will appear in a September 30 episode of the A&E drama "The Cleaner", which is-- fittingly enough-- about a recovering addict and his struggles to help others get clean.

Ryan's Infinity Blues, his "first ever collection of non-musical writing," now has a release date: March 16, 2009 from Akashic Books. Starting October 6, however, you can preorder the thing from Akashic's website. Those who go that route will get a signed hardcover copy of the book and a poetry chapbook exclusive to the Akashic preorder entitled Sad American Mythology.
